Hi Folks! It’s a new month and a new material in our ongoing Materials Series. For the past two months we tinkered with Clay and Ceramics. This month’s material is modern, colorful, and versatile; to quote The Graduate, “Plastics.”
Think plastics are too complicated to incorporate into creating? Think again! Products like perler (hama) beads, contact paper, duct tape, recycled bottles, vinyl, sponges, tubing and more are all plastic products that are perfect for science, art, and design projects for kids! To wet your appetite for all things plastic I rounded up 16 projects from around the web, including a bunch from the Rockin’ Art Moms. Oh the color!
