We love easy art ideas for kids here on Babble Dabble Do and have amassed quite a few fun, colorful, and simple art project posts since we started 2 years ago. The only problem is…how do you find them? With 150+ posts and counting I realize that a lot of fabulous projects are lost in the archives, nearly impossible to find! So I’ve rounded up a few up for you today. All of the projects here are EASY, COLORFUL, and INEXPENSIVE. They use some of our go-to art supplies that a lot of you probably have on hand. If you don’t, check out our art supply list and be sure to add them to your repertoire!

This is a brilliantly fun post!
Thanks so much jJodie! I had fun writing it too 🙂
Hi Ana,
I just came across your site, and I love it! You have a ton of great ideas, and I love this post with art projects. My daughter is still too small (8 months old), but I am always looking for things to do with her when she’s a bit older and I am bookmarking your articles : ) What a great resource!
Thank you so much Samara!!!
Hey Ana…this is an interesting post, and the art ideas seem very creative, colorful, easy, and fun to do…the vibrant colors will definitely make anyone’s spirit lifted, which I am sure is something that can give any child a good foundation in the area of arts, not to mention enhance his or her mood and ensure that they remain bright and lively at all times. We cannot keep them as kids, of course, but giving them a great foundation by introducing to them these creative activities will keep them on the lighter side of things, if you know what I mean. Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful sentiments Kathleen 🙂
I just discovered your site and am thrilled beyond belief. Beautifully put together with an eye toward educating children in science AND art. I can’t wait to dive in to all of these projects with my little girl!
Thank you for the kind words XOXO!
