My daughter could not stop challenging me to spin races last week after we made these super easy tops from just two easy to find materials.
My kids and I have made a lot of spinning tops before from things like perler beads, paper, and yogurt lids, but these Spin-finte Tops TOP them all for spinning power. What I love most about this DIY toy idea is now easy these babies are to make! You can go from making to spinning in a minute or two!

I’d like to send a picture of the fix we came up with to make these even easier to spin for little ones: if you glue your bead in sideways, you can put a toothpick through the hole so it protrudes past the edge of the washer on both sides (hot glue if it’s loose, and trim the sharp points off if you want.). Then a simple flick will send the top spinning!
Awesome tip!!! Thank you for sharing!
